Dear Mr. Lindholm, Thank you for your question. There are 2 ways to copy a solid or assembly. The first is using the clipboard and can be triggered by Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V shortcuts. This way does not keep assembly links (assemblies will fall apart) and 3D Groups are not kept also. The second way does keep both. For copying within 1 document, use the Transformation function and turn on Identical Copies. To copy to another file, use File/Insert Objects from File. Solids that do not have a link tend to not have a separate file either, so there's no problem. Hope this helps! Best Regards, VariCAD Support Team |

Why copying an inserted sub-assembly explodes it? When i need multiple copies of sub-assemblies/parts, i need to insert them one-by-one to the higher level to keep the link to part/sub-assy. |
